Just want to let you know how much my husband and I are enjoying Web Tv. We are both over the road truck drivers and discovered Web TV while we were on a layover wating for freight in Los Angeles, Ca. We had been thinking about buying a computer system, but never really knew what to get so we had never made the plunge; in addition neither one of us are computer literate. We came back home and went to purchase our web tv at circuit city and to our dismay had to order it. We were waiting to leave town on a trip and were so anxious to get this that we called them everyday. This is really wonderful also because our families are scattered; two sons are in college at WVU and now we can keep in touch with them; our brothers and sisters are all set up so we can e-mail them and so is my husband's father. This sure has been wonderful to stay in touch because we cannot afford to keep in touch as well by phone. We have found out that the printer is available and are anxious to get set up with that. Another great feature I want to mention are the maps and driving directions since we are relatively new in the area where we live and also the weather maps; we like to check the extended forecast before going out on out trips. Thanks again.
Just found club webtv. All I can say is thanks for being there. At first was a little scared, (still a little) but it getting a bit easier. I'm just starting to understand all the advantages at my fingers tips. Not bad for a middle age woman in a one horse town. The world is now my oyster!
I said thanks, when I bought my WEBTV UNIT. Thanks, because I got the world in my hands.
I would like to thank you for the recent upgrade. It is great. The best part is being able to use my local ISP. This will save 30 to 40 dollars a month. Now I can use WebTV any time and not worry about a toll call adding up.
Hi There, I just tried out HTML on an e-mail to my daughter in London where she is attending school. WE were both very much impressed. Thanks to web-tv I am able to communicate with her just about every day by e-mail. You made it affordable. Thanks again.
I love to receive my new copy of the news letter every month. I read all of it and check out all of the links. I have only been on line since April and love it. I also have a connection on my computer but hate surf the web or going into a chat room while using it. It is too hard and too slow. My only suggestion is to try to get a spell check add to email. It would be a very nice addition.
After reading the newsletter I just wanted to tell you that I tried Angelfire like you suggested, and I now have my own site www.angelfire.com/fl/VegetariansHome I really enjoy my webtv & was amazed what I could create!
I think this WebTV is the greatest thing to come along since TV. It is really remarkable. We have all had so much fun useing and learning from WebTV. It is really very easy to use,and we never had a computer,--don't know how to use one either. The articles are interesting and entertaining. There is so much to learn. Just want you to know how much we enjoy Our Web TV
THIS WEBTV IS JUST WONDERFUL. AT FIRST MY HUSBAND HATED IT BUT NOW HE LOVES IT. HE GETS ALL HIS TOY SITES AND USES IT AS MUCH AS I DO.
I think webtv is the best invention since chocolate...hard to decide what I love more!!! I come from a family of 11 kids and 9 of us are online and we all bought this for my mom and now we are in contact with each other. Not all of us have webtv, but those of us who couldn't afford a computer are now able to join the online crowd. i just love this, more for email then anything else...
I would like to thank all of you people at webtv for all the help you have gave me when I e-mailed you for help. You gave me more then I asked for, and the people there are great. They really listened to my problem and helped me in a very friendly matter. For that I thank you. That's hard to find now-a-days. Could you please publish this letter in your Customer's Corner next month because I would like to make sure that other people who just purchased the webtv will know just how wonderful you's people are. Again, thank you very much.
I have noticed that since we did the upgrade of our service, it takes a lot longer to contact the service connecting us to the web sites. Also, on some sites where they show real audio, we still can't access them. Are we doing something wrong, or is that how it's supposed to be? We love the idea of the favorite folders. Not only does it allow us more favorites, but now we can organize them. Thanks for a great job on the webtv service and for the upgrades. Who needs a computer??
Thank you webtv for providing all web tv user with the upgrade, but there is one more thing (only one more thing) that all webtv users need is quicktime. That's what we need to explore what we could never explore before. If we had quicktime we could see parts of movies that havn'e came out yet or see parts of old movies that we love. Quicktime sould (I think) have came along time ago. I know all or most webtv users feel the same way. I know that you are busy and everything, but I think giving us quicktime would let us explore amazin things that were never thought possible. Please consider putting this in next months issue of club webtv.
Have I got a story for you. A co-worker of mine suffers from a condition called Lympehdema, which is a backing up of the lymphatic system which caused her right leg to swell to approximately 3 times its normal size. Over the past 2 years she has visited no less than a dozen doctors who could offer her no treatment and no hope.
I would like to offer my thanks for all the hours this great grandma has enjoyed in two months and getting better every day, as I refused to become an illiterate computer person. All my grand kids think I'm cool. Thanks again for all your help.
I am a 56 yr. old grandmother who was against computers until my daughter went to Africa. Before she left, she gave us WebTV as a gift. She set it up and explained its uses to me. That was 5 months ago. Now I cannot imagine life without WebTV! I tell all my computer- fearful friends, "Get WebTV!"
I loved Webtv so much that when I was contacted by an Oregon firm that was filming an infomercial for webtv I jumped at the chance to be a star! I never thought I would actually see it, but it is running now in 1/2 hr. timeslots on channels like Discovery and local stations. It gives viewers the chance to hear testimonials (we didn't get paid but are supposed to get a few months of service gratis) of users and order their own webtvs at the proverbial 800 number. Classy production that I was happy to be a part of. Now where is DeMille when I need him? | |||||||||||||||||
