WebTV Networks' Customer Care Specialists often come across cool and unusual places to visit on the Web. Every month we'll share some of our favorites with you. This month, we also include some club members' sites that have been created using their WebTV Internet terminals. WebTV Networks does not recommend any particular site, or host, for publishing your own home page. However, services like Geocities, Tripod, and Angelfire let you set up your own personal site. If you use one and put together something nice, please feel free to send it to us at ClubWebTV@webtv.net.

Please note that WebTV Networks, Inc. does not guarantee the usability or reliability of any of these host sites. If you have trouble publishing or editing your site, please contact the host site. In addition, please be aware that Club WebTV will not feature member sites that are commercial in nature.

We invite you to submit your favorite sites. When you find a web page you think other Club WebTV members might enjoy, please drop us a note at ClubWebTV@webtv.net. Sites contributed by members will be marked with an asterisk (*).

Here are this month's top picks:

Sea and Sky: An excellent site dedicated to the wonders of the ocean and the heavens. Lots of wonderful photos await the call of your remote.

Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Construction: Follow the progress of the most extravagant hotels in the world as they are built from the ground up.

Book Collector's Home: Old and new books alike can be found here. This site is for the serious book lovers. The search tool allows you to locate some 8 million books.

Wacky Patent of the Month: Each month, this site introduces the reader to some of the strangest inventions in the world. I wish this stuff was around when I was in the 4th grade. Wacky semi-useless inventions were my specialty.

Lockpicking For You: This is for those, like myself, who refuse to store keys in a responsible manner.

Hobby Builders Supply: A fun site with information on all kinds of neat hobbies. From the look of the home page, my guess is that doll houses are the focus of this publisher.

Rollercoaster!: This is a must-see for those of you who love roller coasters. Did you know you can go over 100 miles per hour on a roller coaster? My stomach does flips just thinking about it.

Club WebTV Member Pages

Darby Drive Youth Group Home Page: A good site with tips for healthy living.

Pinecone's Home Page: A very funny page set up by three guys with a lot of free time on their hands.

Jarod's Home Page: This is an impressive site from start to finish. You have to see the picture of the admiral from Star Trek on this page! We all guessed that he was the page's author, but it turns out he's actually "The Pretender". It sure fooled us!

Biography of M. T. Allison: A touching site from a brave Club WebTV member.

Electronic Salon: An artsy web page with tons of information.

Anna's Wee Bit of Ireland Page: Chock-full of information on the Emerald Isle.
