"Where'd I hear about this spot? The Worldwide Fishing Reports... of course."

About two weeks ago, I drove to Lake Tahoe to see one of my new favorite bands, Super Diamond! The band, hailing from San Francisco, put on a highly energetic and exciting show. The uncanny replication of Neil Diamond music and flashy '70s attire brought the packed house to its feet, not letting anyone sit down until the show was over. Driving home the next day, I could feel my muscles burning from all of the fancy dance moves I pulled. Super Diamond is a toe-tapping party in platform shoes!

In case you were wondering, my trip to Las Vegas was wonderful. I have a bit of a reputation as a star magnet, if I do say so myself, and this time I hit the jackpot. My girlfriend and I were enjoying our salads at a little cafe at The Mirage when I noticed this older gentleman sitting at the bar sipping wine. Ladies and gentlemen, I met Tony Curtis! Not only did the screen legend look marvelous, he was as classy as can be.

I am larger than life and so are this month's featured sites!

Super Diamond: One of the most entertaining shows I have ever seen. If you make enough noise in your local establishments, you to could experience the greatest show around. Visit this site to learn more about this phenomenon.

Hollywood Online: This site has an excellent search function that allows you to look for anything and everything that exists in Hollywood. Find out what Robert Downey Jr. is up to these days just by typing in his name and pressing the button! This site is your bird's-eye view of the zoo they call Hollywood.

Universal Studios: This place has changed a lot since I last visited. Fifteen years ago the biggest attraction they had was that big plastic mechanical shark. I admit that the Psycho house gave me the creeps, but besides that it wasn't too exciting. After seeing this site, however, I may be planning a trip back. Take a look and see for yourself!

The Why Files: Why, why, why? Why in the world do people need answers for everything? There are tons of unanswered questions in the world, and this site seems to be where they end up. Luckily for you, however, these files are filled with useful and entertaining information. Why did I decide to share it with you? Why not?

College Sports Internet Channel: An excellent site with links to practically every college sports team in the country. Go Humboldt State Lumberjacks!

American Motorcyclist Association: If you like to pop wheelies and burn rubber, stop here and put down the kickstand.

WordsWorth Books: Just For Kids: A bookstore for kids of all ages! This site includes a summer reading section, just in case kids get bored during the long break. Just remember to put your book down before running through the sprinklers!

Ballparks: Great pictures of past and present ballparks. This site also includes sections on football, hockey, basketball, and golf venues. Why do Americans refuse to recognize soccer as a serious professional sport? Check out this site, and write me with your thoughts on the Secret National Conspiracy Against Soccer.

The King's Castle: As I write this, a good friend of mine is barreling down the freeway towards Memphis! It's frightening just how jealous I am. Elvis is everywhere.
