What's brewing

at WebTV?
Those of you who are new to the Internet (Net) and the World Wide Web (Web) may not be familiar with 'Netiquette - minding your manners while sending e-mail and communicating in general on the Internet. This column will provide you with some helpful hints for proper on-line communicating. Of course, should you have any questions about what you should or shouldn't do while interacting with others on-line, please e-mail us at clubwebtv@corp.webtv.net.

First, a few definitions:
'Netspeak on-line jargon
'Netiquette behaving with proper etiquette while on-line
Newbie a novice web surfer
'Netitude a smug attitude practiced by some Web surfers

Finally, a word of advice:
When sending or receiving e-mail messages, capital letters are used to communicate shouting. Therefore, avoid typing your message in all upper case letters unless you intend to yell.
